so here's a little update on the other krenns-not having "the times of our lives".

Marie tried, she really did, to mow the lawn today but the mower just wouldn't start. Where is the boyfriend when you need him?

Emi had her second day of work at "Europe's most modern planetarium". haha. more people, more problems. Here is a little episode:

So as emi is about to start the show, elderly german tourist lady (=e.g.t.l.) comes up and demands emily give her the "3D glasses" .

e.g.t.l.: Geben sie mir meine 3D Gläser. Ich möchte meine 3D Gläser!!

emily: huh?

(Note: this "modern" planetarium does NOT have a 3D show, ergo NO 3D glasses)

e.g.t.l.: Die 3D Gläser!!

emily: Da verwechseln sie was. Wir sind nicht in einem 3D Kino.

(translation: You must be confused. We are not in a 3D cinema.)

e.g.t.l.: Aber schauen sie doch! Alle haben die Gläser.

(But look! Everyone has them.)

Emily looks over and sees......

yes thats right two girls wearing their sunglasses.

she then very nicely explained to the elderly german tourist lady. the lady said: Achso. (Oh.) and walked away.

food update: we just had the bulgur-lentil salad from the moose wood cook book and are now going to make topical fruit smoothies.

ok, so maybe we are having the time of our lives.
