Via Tuba City to the Grand Canyon

Our first view at the canyon. Pictures can not describe, what we saw.
Here it is: The Grand Canyon

After Tuba city we stopped at some original dino footprints. The locals there reminded me of the salespeople in the Tarvis market.

The park ranger warned us about the winding road to Tuba City and beyond. We measured one stretch that was 9.8 miles straight.... This is Tuba city in the middle of the Navajo Nation (Arizona part), the largest Indian reservation.

Local inhabitants at the Homolovi excavations

We stopped at the Homolovi Indian excavations. This is a picture into an open kiva. Remember, this is a place where men do their secret rituals, smoke and drink....

We left the Wigwam to stop at the Jackrabbit Trading post. It was before 9 oclock so we could only take pictures on the outside.
The morning after our night in the wigwam (which actually is a Tipi) in Holbrook. Kelly and Martin had the wigwam on the left. Karen and Rony had the wigwam on the right.
